To combat occupational hazards, KTC believes in safe workplace strategies.Our safety culture is based on identification, prevention, hazard awareness, and compliance with carefully-developed procedures that we continuously measure and improve.
We believe that health and safety is an integral part of team work and requires lot of participation and commitment from all levels. We recognize relevant HSE systems as part of our standard operating procedures, with the intention to develop injury-free work sites, thereby assisting us to achieve our business goals.
HSE initiatives at KTC:
Our safety committee champions the following initiatives at KTC, continuously reviewing and improving them to ensure world-class systems.
- Training: Various HSE training programs are organized, both in-house and external, thereby ensuring awareness and higher levels of competency amongst all our employees. This includes –
- HSE Training awareness program to middle management
- Induction training to new entrants
- Training at job site
- Audit: Safety systems and procedures are established in order to ensure safe working conditions. Safety audits are conducted at regular frequencies to monitor the compliance of these systems and create awareness within the company.
- Safety first: We demonstrate this by starting every review meeting with health and safety as our agenda.
- Safety begins from top: Our senior management team is very committed to the health and safety of the employee and believes in the top down approach. This is demonstrated by conducting HSE audit at regular frequency.
